After a brief reunion to prepare the bikes, review the program and set everything up, we go off road for about 3 hours in the middle of the mountains between Tela and La Ceiba. In this road, we’ll cross 2 national parks, Texiguat, and Pico Bonito, one of the most important National Parks of Honduras, with diversity of wild life. In the afternoon Rafting of Rio Cangrejal.
The beauty of the Cangrejal river basin is admitted by many, but especially by nature lovers, it is a green place where you will enjoy the fresh and pure mountain air, the delicious smell of the jungle with its exotic and timber trees flowers and the relaxing sound of the waters of the Cangrejal river, the birds and the wild animals that inhabit this important ecological sanctuary.
The most enjoyed activity along the Cangrejal river is white water rafting. The River has several different sections, each with a different degree of difficulty. Enjoy an exciting trip along the turbulent Class III & IV rapids of Cangrejal river. One of the biggest pluses that this river offers: The water is not ice cold! As a matter of fact, you will want to get wet to cool during your tour!

Rafting tour includes instruction on procedures, security equipment, bilingual professional guide and gear (rafts, paddles, life jackets and helmets).
Participants are invited to a picnic meal at the end of the activity, consisting of some fruit and soft drink.

The time-tested skills of Mayan ancestors still exist today with specially honed skills for working with wood, leather and stone carving. The city of Copán has narrow streets, along with the brightly colored buildings and a friendly intimacy that creates a warm and inviting tourism center. The site of Copán itself, is the most studied archaeological site in the Maya world, through the city and the site you can truly understand the balance of life of the Maya ancestors and how they have influenced life in the country today.

This is where to go on the Honduras Caribbean coast if you want to relax and be near/on the beach and swim in the sea. Tela is located half way between the cities of San Pedro Sula and La Ceiba. Originally the headquarters for the United Fruit Company in Honduras, Tela has a largest concentration of Garifuna villages in the World!

The lagoon derives its name from the white-faced monkeys or ‘micos’ which frequent the mangroves. Laguna Los Micos is truly an astounding birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 350 species sighted. A tour of the channels and islets will reward you with both an eco-adventure, and the chance to see the skillful Garifuna fishermen at work, casting their nets. In the afternoon return the bikes.
